Homework while Absent:
Here is what I’d like students to do if absent.
If you have a computer and access to the internet:
- Write a post on Kidblog, at least two paragraphs long, about your day at home.
- Spend 30 minutes on IXL, or 15 minutes on IXL and 15 doing a game on Everyday Math site.
- Complete 1 story on Raz-Kids.com
- You will be bringing your history book and notebook home every night, so if there is homework for history, you will be able to do it.
If you don’t have a computer:
- Write a math word problem dealing with the current math topic.
- Write 2 paragraphs about your day.
- You will be bringing your history book and notebook home every night, so if there is homework for history, you will be able to do it.
- Read for 30 minutes and write a short paragraph about what you read.
